BOTANIQ Castle of Tura joins Small Luxury Hotels of the World- First SLH property in Hungary
BOTANIQ Castle of Tura has received many recognitions since its opening in 2020, and now it has the honour of joining the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH)this year. 17/10/2022 – Since its opening in 2020, BOTANIQ Castle of Tura has deserved the recognition of its guests as well as a number of international organisations and competitions with its services and imposing appearance. Winning the “Best 5-Star Hotel in Hungary” award during the International Travel Awards competition this year, the castle became a member of Small Luxury Hotels uniting unique boutique hotels in September.
Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) unite 520 hotels in over 90 countries, which are all unique, yet share the same values. Only hotels operating on a high-level service, can join SLH following a careful selection process. Member hotels also undergo annual mystery inspections of their properties. The protection of the local values and the cooperation of the hotels with their environment and local communities are of key importance in terms of the selection criteria. BOTANIQ Castle of Tura, has joined as the first hotel from Hungary to the worldwide organisation, which has hotels in the Hamptons and New York in the United States of America, London, Santorini, Mykonos and Saint-Tropez in Europe, and others in Australia, Africa and South America. Meeting the requirements of SLH, the hotel awaits its visitors only 50 kilometres away from Budapest with 19 guest rooms, premium services and authentic ingredients coming from local producers.
The castle provides amenities for relaxation and recreation in all seasons with its outdoor and indoor wellness and fitness services as well as its various room types. Along with the hotel services, the castle garden with ancient trees on 10 hectares and the two restaurants also contributed to the hotel joining the world-famous members of SLH. Clarisse and the Palm House restaurants await their guests with courses made from premium ingredients. Thanks to the hotel’s ambitions to be self-sufficient, the kitchen does not only receive ingredients from local producers, but also from the castle’s own vegetable garden, hereby ensuring the freshest ingredients in accordance with the farm to table concept.
